STEP-BY-STEP

Installation in 5 Simple Steps

Follow the installation plan and build your wooden world map step by step. Take your time and check the position of each element before pressing it firmly against the wall.

Left and right cardboard positioning corners attached to a wall at the same height

Step 1 — Position the Cardboard Corners

Attach the left and right positioning corners to the wall at the same height. Keep the exact distance indicated in the installation plan for your map size.

Leave at least 20 cm between the top edge of the corners and the ceiling. The corners will establish the correct starting points for Alaska and eastern Russia.

Step 2 — Attach the First Map Elements

Place Alaska against the left positioning corner and eastern Russia against the right one. Align the wooden elements with the cut-out edges shown by the guides.

Check the position of both starting pieces carefully before pressing them firmly against the wall. They create the foundation for the rest of the map.

Step 3 — Build the Main Map

Continue adding the remaining map elements, moving gradually from the outer starting points towards the centre.

Use the included installation plan and measuring guide to maintain the correct spacing. Check the position of each element before pressing it firmly against the wall.

Step 4 — Add the Separate Elements

Once the main part of the map is complete, carefully remove the cardboard positioning corners from the wall.

Using the installation plan and measuring guide, add the separate elements: Greenland, Australia, Antarctica and the remaining islands. Check their spacing before pressing them firmly into place.

Step 5 — Complete the Final Details

Use the installation plan to position the compass, airplanes, ships, landmarks, ocean names and other decorative elements included with your map.

Step back and check the overall spacing and alignment. Once everything is correctly positioned, press each element firmly against the wall to secure it in place.
